The clinic is headed by Dr. Leah Jongue, a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner. Dr. Jongue has an extensive amount of professional experience and has researched the most effective therapeutic strategies that are matched to each person’s profile setting up a path to recovery. She also provides information and resources to support each individual in navigating a personal path to wellness.

Leah’s main interest is family care in weight management; Targets the real issues causing weight gain, based on both principles of Chinese dietary therapy, Western nutrition and provides a structured education pathway to emotional and physical wellbeing. She also has special interests in working with symptoms (which may involve with weight issues) such as pain, insomnia, emotional, digestive, reproductive, hair, and skin health.

Dr. Jongue has several health programs that are designed to focus treatment and track progress using health measuring tool/surveys. Data from these health surveys are compiled to provide information about what we treat and measures the program effectiveness.

Her treatment involves a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, naturopathic medicine recommendations, where appropriate, with dietary advice based on the patient’s constitution and nature of the illness, according to Chinese Medicine principles.

Furthermore, Dr. Jongue’s is the fourth-generation descendant of the family in Chinese Medicine. In her spare time, plays her Chinese harp (Guzheng) and enjoys to collect scientific research papers to keep her most up-to-date information on their modalities in Western and Chinese medicine. As well as the required continuing professional development each year and contribute clinical knowledge and experience. She places a strong positive, motivations and focuses on promoting good health and working with the body in order to achieve optimal results.
